Date: November 18, 2017
Time: 09:00 AM – 04:00 PM
Speaker: Mr. Toby Mountjoy (MSc, BCBA)
Venue: Eastwood Richmonde Hotel, Quezon City

Behavior problems can cause significant challenges to parents, teachers and caregivers. It can be tough managing different behaviors but there are approaches like developing proactive skills that focus on prevention and resolution. In this workshop, we will share highly effective ways to help students overcome different kinds of problems such as:

• crying, throwing tantrum and aggression
• self-stimulatory behavior
• defiant and non-compliant
• rituals and obsessive behavior
• inattention and lack of focus

After looking at the framework of how we can uncover the meaning and purpose of the above behaviors, we will present guidelines on how to develop programs that can reduce problem behaviors and teach new ones. In addition, participants will be able to follow the development of 2 remarkable students from their first days in an Autism Partnership program to many months later and see their development over time.
