Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician
With 20 years of experience in Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics, Dr. Francis Xavier M. Dimalanta is a leading public advocate for the holistic well-being of children in the Philippines. His name has become synonymous with the word innovative because of his ability to rally the latest pediatric health issues at the forefront of public discourse. Dr. D, as he is fondly called, can do this impossible feat because he is proactive rather than reactive. And through his divine bedside manner, his magnetic personality infectiously attracts his fellow doctors, patients, media contacts, and other high-profile personalities to be a proactive champion of pediatric wellness just like him. And despite being the Head of the Section of Developmental Pediatrics in St Luke’s Global City & QC & Asst Head of the Institute of Pediatrics & Child Health at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Global City, he still can maintain these relationships by giving up his personal time to tirelessly educate his friends and the public on pediatric care through social media and live engagements. He also imparts his profound medical wisdom by being a board member of the College of Saint Benilde’s Center for Inclusive Education, Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Philippines, Children’s International Summer Villages, and The Asian Parent.
