Seminar on Teaching Spontaneous Use of Speech

Some students with ASD may not talk at all and others may have words but not use them very often. There are varieties of research-proven techniques that can help teach students to speak more and to expand the words they are using.

This 1-day seminar will cover different strategies to increase use of language with students with ASD. Different scenarios will be presented ranging from students with no speech to students who are able to talk in sentences. Video presentation, case study, discussion, and role-play will be included too.
