Time: 09:00 AM – 04:00 PM
Speaker: Mr. Raymond Fung (M.S. ABA, BCBA)

Changing behavior is difficult. It is very common to find students with ASD who have undesirable behaviors. If these problems are not dealt with, they may persist into adulthood and significantly reduce their quality of life. Behavior management is often seen as obvious and easy. However, its application is often very complex and requires extensive training to achieve good results. This workshop is designed to provide participants specific procedures and techniques to manage undesirable behaviors. The workshop will include video presentation, case study, discussion, role-play and Q & A.

Topics to be discussed:

• Why undesirable behaviors occur
• Identify undesirable behaviors and related information
• Analyze the nature and functions of behaviors
• How to react to disruptive behaviors
• How to prevent disruptive behaviors
• How to motivate students to behave well
• Teaching the right skills at the right time
• Case studies
