Parent education and skills training are integral parts of Autism Partnership’s model of service and we believe that parent involvement and ability to help their child are essential for obtaining the best long-term outcome for a child.
On Saturday, June 25, AP will be conducting a hands-on practical workshop for parents with children with ASD. Conducted by our experienced Supervisors, the 1-day workshop will be organized with information and small group practical experience with our Supervisors, so that parents can get feedback to learn how to engage with their child, and get their child ready to sit, engage, play and be motivated to initiate communication, through the use of toys and play.
A 1 hour Zoom consultation with AP supervisor will be offered after the workshop for the registered parents to apply their learning to how skills to get their child to sit, engage, play and motivated to initiate communication, using toys and play.
