Dr. Leaf began his career working with Professor Ivar Lovaas, while receiving his undergraduate degree at UCLA. Subsequently, he received his doctorate under the direction of Prof. Lovaas. During his years at UCLA, he served as Clinic Supervisor, Research Psychologist, Lecturer and Interim Director of the Young Autism Project. He was extensively involved in several research investigations, contributed to \u201cThe Me Book\u201d, and is a co-author of \u201cThe Me Book\u201d Videotapes, a series of instructional tapes for teaching autistic children. Dr. Leaf has consulted to families, schools, day programs and residential facilities on a national and international basis. Dr. Leaf is also the Executive Director of Behavior Therapy and Learning Centre, a mental health agency that consults with parents, care-providers and school personnel. Dr. leaf is co-author of \u201dA Work In Progress\u201d, \u201cTime for School\u201d, \u201cIt Has to Be Said\u201d, \u201cCrafting Connections\u201d and \u201cA Work In Progress Companion with a wide range of developmental disabilities for more than forty years. He received his graduate training under Professor Ivar Lovaas at UCLA on the Young Autism Project. During his 11 years at UCLA, Dr. McEachin served in various roles including Clinic Supervisor, Research and Teaching Assistant, and Acting Director. His research has included the long-term follow-up study of young autistic children who received intensive behavioral treatment, which was published in 1993.<\/p>\n<p>In 1994 he joined with Ron Leaf in forming Autism Partnership, which they co-direct. In 1999 they published A Work in Progress, a widely used behavioral treatment manual and curriculum for children with autism. She worked as a Clinical Supervisor, managing cases, parent support, setting up of &#8216;Little Learners&#8217; a toddler preschool program and staff training at the Hong Kong Office. She has also participated in setting up and training overseas office Japan, Singapore, and Seoul.<\/p>\n<p>Kathleen was also involved in the set up and registration of the first school in Hong Kong for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and took the role of Principal of Aoi Pui School when the school was registered in 2007. She was responsible for the school management, developing the school program, increasing awareness of Autism Spectrum Disorder and the &#8216;Autism Partnership Method&#8217; of ABA as well as providing professional training for over a hundred of therapists.<\/p>\n<p>In 2019, she moved to London, and continues to support Aoi Pui School and Autism Partnership Foundation as a consultant in mentoring senior staff to take on leadership and supervisory roles. She is currently taking up her Masters in Clinical Psychology from the same university. She has been working with Autism Partnership Manila since 2017 \u2013 teaching learners from toddlers to young adults in one-on-one and group settings. While teaching, she was trained and supervised by behavioral consultants of AP while collaborating with other therapists to maximize the progress of our students.<\/p>\n<p>She currently holds the position of Behavioral Consultant in the organization. In this role, she oversees AP Manila&#8217;s programs to ensure the effectiveness of teaching and therapy while regularly providing staff training. She also provides parent training to families and consultations with schools so that their learners may easily generalize the skills that they have been acquiring. She receives ongoing training from our Hong Kong consultant, Kathleen Man (Behavioral Consultant of AP and Clinical Director of AP Manila). She started her teaching career in 2012 as a special education teacher catering to students in a group setting with ages ranging from 3 to 15 years old. She then joined Autism Partnership in 2017 and began working as a Program Specialist. Kim has experience in working directly with children with autism, providing intensive early behavioral intervention in one-on-one and group settings.<\/p>\n<p>As a Senior Case Supervisor, Kim provides continuous supervision and staff training, conducts workshops and training for parents, caregivers, and other professionals. She also works with children on an individual basis. Kim is working closely with therapists, parents, and consultants to ensure the provision of the best possible service for the students of Autism Partnership Manila. Some of them have master&#8217;s degree or is a licensed teacher and psychometrician. Thereafter, staff continue to receive over 200 hours of supervision per year with weekly supervisions, regular clinics, and team meetings specific to the child they are working with. Weekly supervisions allow us to monitor and evaluate the quality of our services, and track progress of our
