Social Skills Group for Children with Autism


This summer, we are introducing The Buddies! This is a social skills group program designed to help students with Autism aged 3 to 5 years old. For them to acquire the foundational and necessary skills they need before attending school, we aim to:

– Establish fundamental social skills of children with Autism who are in pre-school
– Help develop school readiness skills
– Increase learning efficiency in the classroom
– Build friendship among classmates and peers
– Develop confidence and interest among others


Students are assessed and goals are created to meet their individual needs and continue to nurture what they have learned. Fun and exciting structure of activities are planned and established to meet the objectives and goals.


At Autism Partnership Philippines, we understand that before a child starts school, it can be both exciting and challenging at the same time. This is so for parents with autism who have concerns about how their child will communicate, interact and play in school.




HOW WE CAN HELP

The Buddies emphasize on teaching social skills that is required in pre-school settings such as how to interact and communicate with friends in the classroom, during play time, table tasks and other school-related activities. It is also designed for children who have minimal behavioral problems and would benefit in a group setting.


The social skills group program will cover some of the following skills or based on the needs of students.

Age: 3 to 5 years old
Class size: 4-6 students
Duration: March to July
Schedule: 9am to 12nn
Location: AP Center – 46 Greenmeadows Avenue, Brgy. Ugong Norte, Quezon City
Fee: Early bird rate: Php 117,000 (until March 31, 2020 only)
Regular rate: Php 120,000 per month

Ms. Camille Lajara, RPm
Program Coordinator
Camille Lajara is currently enrolled in Masters in Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis at Endicott College, in Massachusetts, USA. She is earning credits, trainings and supervision hours to sit in the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Examination. As a registered Psychometrician since 2015 with a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Psychology from De La Salle Lipa, Philippines, she started as a therapist at Autism Partnership in 2016. She has been receiving ongoing training in Hong Kong and Philippines offices under the supervision and guidance of Board-Certified Behavior Analyst Consultants and Clinical Director, Raymond Fung.
She has extensive experience in providing Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis for Children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder from ages 2 to adolescents.
At present, she is leading the supervision and training of staff, caregivers and other professionals to manage the consistency of the implementation of programs, provide ongoing support and make adjustments following the Consultant’s recommendation. In the past years, she has been representing Autism Partnership Philippines in clinical meetings, workshops and conferences conducted at the center and other allied agencies.
Kim Marie Villanueva
Program Coordinator
Kim holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from San Beda College Alabang, Philippines. She started her teaching career in 2012 as a special education teacher for children ages 3-15 years old. She then joined Autism Partnership in 2017 and began working as a Program Specialist. Kim has experience in working directly with children with autism, providing intensive early behavioral intervention in one-on-one and group settings.
As a Program Coordinator, Kim provides continuous supervision and staff training, conduct workshops and training for parents, caregivers and other professionals. She also works with children on an individual basis. Kim is working closely with therapists, parents and consultants to ensure the provision of the best possible service for the students of Autism Partnership Manila. She receives ongoing training and development under the supervision of Board-Certified Behavior Analyst Consultants and Clinical Director of the Philippines, Raymond Fung.
