Conference held successfully in Manila, Philippines

Autism Partnership Manila organized a workshop, titled “Not all ABA is alike”, on November 4, 2014 at the Eastwood Richmonde Hotel, Manila, Philippines. The event, themed on building quality education at home and school, was a great success with a full house attendance. Attendees including therapists, educators, social workers, industry professionals and parents have shown great interest in learning more about effective treatment for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), particularly the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Having training and a doctoral degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), Dr. Ronald Leaf, Director of Autism Partnership, was the key-note speaker of the workshop. Dr. Leaf is a licensed psychologist and has over 40 years of experience in the field of autism.

At the Workshop, Dr. Leaf addressed topics on how to deal with challenging behaviors; increasing children’s awareness and focus; accelerating children’s spoken language; developing meaningful friendship and separating fact from fiction. The participants were amazed and intrigued with Dr. Leaf’s passion and expertise in the ABA model and treatment for ASD
